All students will be given a personal mentor, from a current West End show, who knows exactly what it is like to train in musical theatre. They will be available for advice and a catch-up and can help you to find your feet when you first graduate.

Current mentors can be found on our faculty page and include cast members from almost all of the big London musicals.

Our mentoring scheme is central to our vision for forward thinking, drama school training. As well as regular masterclass workshops and industry tutors, your mentor is there to support you, both during the course and after. They will be on hand to catch up with you throughout the course and offer you advice and support when you enter the industry. Our mentors understand the questions that new graduates have and are best placed to answer your questions, drawing upon their own experiences.

Every MAMT student will be allocated a mentor right at the start of the course. Then you will keep your mentor updated on your progress and develop a great working relationship with them, to draw on their support and knowledge as and when you need to. They will invest their time in you and also update you when exciting things are happening for them.

The mentoring programme is so beneficial to new students, even after graduation.

We are exceptionally thankful to our mentors for their time, expertise and encouragement.

Our mentoring programme is a big commitment to you as future professionals in the musical theatre industry.
