KERRY ELLIS UK TOUR CHOIR
Join Kerry Ellis as she embarks on a UK tour to celebrate 20 years since her West End debut. The West End’s favourite leading lady will sing songs from Bond, to Bareilles to Bacharach and more, telling stories from her career to date.
Having worked with Kerry on her first solo tour in 2015, and running a hugely successful masterclass in London previously, MAMT are delighted to now be joining her for the 20th Anniversary tour. We are looking for participants from across the UK for one (or more!) of the following dates:
Participants can be from anywhere in the UK and can either join our full time students at one or all of the above dates. There will be a full day rehearsal in each city the weekend before each date.
Midlands Academy of Musical Theatre Principal, James Williams, explains "Kerry Ellis is such a wonderful performer who has shown kindness and generosity in supporting our new Academy. We are opening this opportunity up to all aspiring singers, of any age, from anywhere in the UK - so if you are a Kerry Ellis or Musical Theatre fan, get involved!"
This opportunity is open to all - beginners and more experienced singers are all encouraged to take part. Participants will work with MAMT tutors to learn the songs before meeting Kerry and joining her live on stage at the above venues. You do not need to join at all of the venues - you can do one, two, three or all four!
